A wellness environment designed to feel as refined as the practice itself.
Brio Studio brings together reformer Pilates, hot yoga, and barre under one roof in Bemidji, Minnesota. helseM Architects led the interior design and documentation for the full tenant buildout — creating a layered, warm-modern environment that transitions seamlessly from retail and reception into the dedicated studio spaces. Backlit arched niches, brass fixtures, ornamental tin ceilings, and rich hardwood flooring give the space a sense of permanence and care.

Open shell with exposed ductwork, original hardwood subfloor, and scaffolding in place.
New partition framing taking shape beneath the existing ornamental tin ceiling.

Brass chandelier, ornamental tin ceiling, and warm hardwood — the same bones, entirely transformed.
Brass clothing rails and open shelving create a curated retail experience integrated into the flow.
